The ‘Rice of Fragrance’ This unique variety of Rice has been grown since centuries in India. As per the Oxford Dictionary, the Word ‘Basmati’ is derived from pure Hindi language. ‘Baas’ means Fragrance or Smell or Aroma. The earliest reference comes in the Epic “ HeerRanjha “ written by Punjab Poet Varis Shah in 1766.

Rice is a very imminent part of Human Food Consumption and is cooked is a variety of cuisines… Biryani from the Indian Subcontinent, Pulao, Chinese Fried Rice, Mexican Rice & so on.
